Visionary Psychiatry exclusively services Oregon to improve mental and physical health via compassionate, personalized and updated medication and technologies.

Physically serving the state of Oregon, our physical office is located in historic Hillsboro, and primarily offers in-person services to residents of Portland, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Salem, and Beaverton areas.

Visionary Psychiatry also provides telepsychiatry appointments across the entire state of Oregon to proudly deliver services to all Oregonians.

With extensive understanding of psychiatric medication management, Carmen Kosicek, founder of Visionary Psychiatry, champions a refreshing, progressive, and evidence-based approach to mental health treatments. Through Visionary Psychiatry, she’s able to deliver compassionate care and ensure accessible treatment and medication options that are likewise fiscally obtainable. Carmen also offers remote-based neurocognitive testing, along with the cutting-edge tool of providing personalized, objective insights into cognitive health. With this refreshing take on mental health care, she emphasizes the limits of side effects, and the removal of unnecessary polypharmacy, making the treatments more sustainable and manageable for you.

Carmen Kosicek, MSN, NM, PMHNP-BC

CEO, Founder, Provider of Visionary Psychiatry

Carmen Kosicek is a visionary leader in mental health care education and clinical practice with a mission to provide compassionate and current treatments via accessible care to all she serves.

Carmen earned her first degree in Nuclear Medicine, followed by a Bachelors in Nursing. Graduate education, at the highly esteemed Case Western Reserve University, is where she earned her Masters in Nursing. Her first post graduate certificate as a Nurse Midwife was obtained in 1997 from Frontier University. Twenty years later, she again returned for another post graduate certification, at the University of Cincinnati, 2017 as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

With her numerous years of first hand clinical experience in the practice of healthcare, intertwined with her passion for always remaning cutting edge by infusing evidenced based practice and holistic mental wellness, Carmen has been a nationally recognized educator to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and more.

Passionate about breaking barriers in psychiatric treatment and combining her educational backgrounds, Carmen Kosicek specializes in mental health medications for sexual wellness, ADHD testing and treatment, cutting edge therapies for depression, and holistic mental wellness across the spectrum of psychiatric disorders.

Carmen is the founder, as well as one of the prescribing providers, of Visionary Psychiatry.
